Graduate education: Preparing designers for jobs that don’t exist (yet)

A fantastic article discussing the future of the design profession.  Putting theory into practice and adjusting to a complex nodal approach to design where designers now must not only be able to create objects but are now asked to be more than what their field prepared them for…writers, sociologist, entrepreneur, business developer..ect.  In this interconnected network of social networking and NET linkability, cross pollination is more important than ever….where designers, to keep up with the influx of new technology, are “preparing for jobs that do not exist…yet.”
